TCES Past Conferences

TCES 2007 in London

The conference was hosted by the Tissue Repair and Engineering Centre, University College of London. The meeting was organised by Prof Robert Brown.

The TCES Early Stage Investigator Award 2007 (for researchers less than eight years out of their PhD) went to Dr Molly Stevens, Department of Materials, Imperial College. Her talk was entitled 'Biologically inspired materials: applications in nanotechnology and tissue engineering'. Molly leads an impressively large research group at Imperial and has a very impressive record of publication in high-ranking general interest journals such as Science and PNAS.
